A three-language website for an ice cream machine distributor
A rebuild of the 2014 website of Sorrento, a Hungarian distributor of ice cream machines, ice cream powders and giant cone decorations.

The challenge
The old website dated from 2014. Its fixed-width layout didn’t adapt to phones, the English and German versions only said “Coming soon”, and prices and machine specifications were hard to find in long blocks of text.
Our approach
We built the design around the stars-and-stripes look of the Sorrento machines: navy, red and cream, waving stripes, condensed poster type and the script lettering of the original logo. Visitors can switch between three colour schemes and two styles, and the site remembers their choice.
Every page now exists in Hungarian, English and German. The machine specifications became a clear spec sheet, prices sit next to each product, and the old Hungarian addresses still work, so existing links and search results lead to the right pages.
